Terms and conditions for wheel refurbishment

1. Prestige Wheel Centre LTD require that all customer vehicles are fully covered by the customer's own vehicle insurance whilst left within our workshop/forecourt.

2. Prestige Wheel Centre LTD require customer vehicles to be supplied with the genuine O.E.M locking wheel nut/bolt keys, to assist with removing and fitting wheels etc. if fitted and duly required.

3. Prestige Wheel Centre LTD will not accept responsibility for any goods or articles left in a vehicle, damage to, or mechanical fault on any vehicle, other than obvious damage which was not recorded when the vehicle was initially checked in; this includes occurrences such as electrical or mechanical problems, etc.

4. Prestige Wheel Centre LTD will not accept any responsibility for the transportation of wheels, which are delivered to and/or collected by customer's couriers. Customers should ensure that any courier they use is adequately insured for any damage caused whilst in transit to/from us. All couriers employed by Prestige Wheel Centre LTD will have sufficient insurance to cover any in-transit damage. All goods sent by us should be checked carefully before signing for. In the rare event of any damage, the goods should be signed for as damaged.

5. Prestige Wheel Centre LTD will steadfastly endeavour to refurbish all wheels to highest possible standards and to the best of the company's extensive abilities; However, we cannot be held responsible or liable for unforeseen problems such as poor castings or excessive corrosion on the said customer's wheels. Please note: these dilemmas are sometimes only more apparent when the aged powder coating/finish has been removed through our somewhat extensive processes. Similar dilemmas, that can sometimes be found may possibly also include:
a. The customer's wheels / locking nuts or studs, that may have been incorrectly maintained or installed, prior to being at the Prestige Wheel Centre LTD site location.
b. Previous service or repairs that have not been correctly carried out, to the required safe operating standard.
c. Parts which have been incorrectly fitted or the actual structure of the wheel / components / bolts or nuts / threads / valves, - some of which, may have been affected by the said process.

6. Prestige Wheel Centre LTD will only accept split rim wheels, on the sole undertaking that it is entirely at the customer's discretion and responsibility as to the suitability of the full refurbishment process. We do however, highly recommend all split rims are broken down prior to any refurbishment being carried out by Prestige Wheel Centre LTD. Customers, are also advised, that if they do supply broken down split rims to us, it is their responsibility to ensure they are suitably and safely re-built after refurbishment by Prestige Wheel Centre LTD.

7. When wheels that are classed as in 'very poor' condition upon delivery to Prestige Wheel Centre LTD, customers are advised that the said wheels may incur an additional surcharge of £5 per wheel. This is to cover the cost of the deep cleaning chemical process and the additional intensive labour required to refurbish customers said wheels.

8. Prestige Wheel Centre LTD reserve the right to charge extra in the event of unforeseen problems. In such circumstances we will however guarantee to contact the customer for agreement before proceeding.

9. Customers should be aware that certain high gloss finishes, such as high power silver and / or gloss black, can sometimes potentially display minor blemishes more readily; this is generally dependant on the initial condition of the wheels. At Prestige Wheel Centre LTD, we will guarantee to greatly and extensively improve the condition of the wheels, compared to when they were initially given to us for refurbishment.

10. It is Prestige Wheel Centre LTD's mission to provide an efficient and speedy (3-4 day) turnaround service whenever possible. However, we can only guarantee this, if:
a. The wheels for refurbishment, are delivered to our premises in Erdington, Birmingham no later than 11.30am.
b. The wheels do not have any hidden defects which may potentially delay the process; this may not be apparent until the wheels have been stripped - please see point 5 above, for said examples.
 

11. After refurbishment, Prestige Wheel Centre LTD insist, that it is the customer's sole responsibility to check the condition of refurbished wheels, the fitted wheel bolts / nuts and any customer supplied locking mechanisms, as well as the general condition of tyres. This is to ensure that they all conform to all the required safety and legal requirements. If a customer asks Prestige Wheel Centre LTD to refit either illegal or damaged tyres, these will only be refitted under the customer's express instructions, and the customer must sign a disclaimer to this effect. Please note: Prestige Wheel Centre LTD can readily source, supply and fit new tyres upon request and after consultation with the customer.

12. Where wheels are delivered on the customer's vehicle, we will endeavour and check to ensure that all wheels are securely re-fitted following refurbishment. However we do advise all customers to 100% check their wheels / locking nuts or bolts etc - immediately upon collection of their vehicle and before leaving the premises and similarly, at regular intervals thereafter to ensure that the wheels are safe and secure at all times.

13. At Prestige Wheel Centre LTD, we recommend that new valves are fitted to all wheels which require a strip and refit of tyres. All rubber valves will be supplied free of charge, or we can provide chrome valves at a small additional charge; this is to be fully agreed by the customer prior to fitting. prestige wheel centre ltd can accept no responsibility for leaks etc, where the original valves have been re-fitted at a customer's specific request.

14. Prestige Wheel Centre LTD ask that all refurbished wheels are collected before 5:30pm on the day of refurbishment, unless a mutually alternative time is previously agreed for collection from our site.

15. All bills for services provided are settled prior to release of refurbished wheels.

16. If wheels are not collected within one week from refurbishment, Prestige Wheel Centre LTD reserve the right to add a surcharge of £10.00 per day from the 8th day onwards (the 1st day being the day the wheels were refurbished). If refurbished wheels are not collected after four weeks and if refurbishments have not been paid for in full - Prestige Wheel Centre LTD reserve the right to sell the wheels to recoup all costs incurred, including all storage charges.

17. Prestige Wheel Centre LTD will impose a charge of £25.00 per night per vehicle left on our posession overnight and this will be added to a customer's final invoice.

18. Prestige Wheel Centre LTD reserve the right to withhold releasing customer's refurbished wheels, until cleared payments are received in full and final settlement of an invoice.

19. Prestige Wheel Centre LTD request that any complaints should be kindly submitted in writing by recorded delivery, within 72 hours of wheels being refurbished, to the directors of Prestige Wheel Centre LTD.

20. Powder Coated finishes come with a 12 month warranty on the finish, and Diamond Cut wheels will have 6 months warranty on the finish.

Forged Wheel Terms and Conditions 

Once you have placed your forged wheel order online, a member of our team will contact you to confirm thefollowing details,

  • Your chosen wheel design
  • Your required diameter, width and offset for both front and rear wheels
  • Your chosen centre part and cap finishing and colour where applicable
  • Your chosen front lip and rear rim finishing, again, including colour if any where applicable
  • Your chosen hardware finish
  • Your vehicle’s exact details: make, model and year
  • You must inform us of any deviation from the vehicles delivered specifications: these include, but are not limited to, things such as aftermarket or upgraded braking systems or modified / upgraded suspension units such as air ride or coil over set ups.
  • It is vitally important you inform us if your vehicle has ceramic brakes whether they are standard or an upgrade.
  • Note: failure to adhere to this request or disclose any modifications may result in fitment problems of which Prestige Wheel Centre will neither be responsible nor liable for if this is a direct result of an undisclosed deviation from the vehicles original delivered specification.
  • Any special requirements or notes that have been mentioned during any consultations with any representative of Prestige Wheel Centre. 

Once we have received your order, and all criteria are agreed, we will issue an order confirmation for the wheels which will have all relevant details present including lead times, please check this very carefully.

Lead times for forged wheels vary per brand and can at times be extensive and subject to change, as they are bespoke items that are made to order.  Once your order has been confirmed, a member of our team will advise you of the estimated lead times.

We are not responsible for anything other than what’s listed on this order, regardless of any prior correspondence.

Should this require a revision or addition, you have 48 hours to respond with your requests, failure to do so will result in the order proceeding through production exactly as described on the invoice regardless of the specifications listed being correct or not.

It is your responsibility to check for any mistakes or potentially incorrect details of any sort on the submitted order. Any revisions requested after the payment has been made may incur considerable costs should any work already have been performed and If the order is too far into production for any changes to be made, you will be responsible for all material & machining costs incurred which may be considerable.

Should you overlook any details on the order, it is your responsibility to notify us within 24 hours of making the payment or by default, the order will proceed as described on the order confirmation provided – you are responsible for carefully checking the details of your order.

Your approval of the specifications listed on our order constitutes your acceptance of responsibility that such fitment specifications will properly fit your intended vehicle application based on the information you have supplied.

Once production begins, any requested changes may be granted purely at the discretion of Prestige Wheel Centre and any requests after the start period will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be wholly dependent on the nature of the request and the status of the work in progress.

Custom-ordered wheels will need to have balances cleared within 30 days after arrival at Prestige Wheel Centre to avoid disposal to recover funds lost on goods of this nature. This is simply because goods have to be paid for by Prestige Wheel Centre at our factories, and we, therefore, reserve the right to sell goods to recover costs incurred.

ONLINE STORE TERMS

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

  1. We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.

  2. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

  3. Any claims agreed upon between you and us will not be liable to Value Added Tax (VAT). Additionally, any claims agreed upon and paid will be subject to deduction of any VAT amounts already paid.

TERMINATION

The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes.

These Terms of Service are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms of Service at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use our Services, or when you cease using our site.

If in our sole judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of these Terms of Service, we also may terminate this agreement at any time without notice and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination; and/or accordingly may deny you access to our Services (or any part thereof).

The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
