Our services

Just a few of the services we offer are:

Diamond Cut Wheels

Ceramic Polishing

Powder Coating (Manufacturers finish)

Wheel Straightening

Weld/Crack Repairs

Split Rims - 2/3 piece (Refinishing & Re-sealing)

At Prestige Wheel Centre we are truly Alloy Wheel Specialists. We have expert knowledge in wheel fitments and materials used in alloy wheels. We also know how important it is to have your wheels looking at there best especially as the wheels are one of the most important features of your car. With this is mind we always aspire to give you the best finish possible when refinishing your wheels.

We offer Powder Coating, CNC Diamond Cutting and also 2 & 3-piece Split Rim refurbishment.

95% of our wheel refurbishment happens IN HOUSE. In all cases we fully refurbish the wheel, with the tyre totally removed from the wheel. You can bring your wheels to us without the tyres, or we can strip and refit the tyres and re-balance the wheels. As Alloy Wheel specialists we use stick on weights which are stuck on the reverse of the wheel and cause no markings.

All wheels are totally chemically stripped of all layers of paint. Some wheels are also gently blasted by hand to remove rust and porosity to obtain a smooth metal surface in preparation for coating.  This process may take a little longer but quality finishes are what we aim for.

The wheels are then prepared, dressed and filled to deal with any damage to the rim edges and the face. (We do not deal with buckled or badly dented wheels as these are safety related structural repairs and wheels should be written off and replaced although some minor damage can be repaired via hydraulics).

Next the wheels are gently heat treated  to remove any air from the alloy and a first stage powder coat finish is applied and then cured for a set time period. After this if the wheel is having a “special” or “bespoke” finish the wet-in-wet procedure takes place (e.g. special paint and clear-coat finish). The wheels are also automatically subjected to further thermal treatment. The lacquer coat is not only applied to enhance the finish but to protect the alloy wheel against environmental influences (UV radiation, salt, moisture, dirt, etc.) at all points.

You will need to book your wheels or car in advance.

Most jobs take 3-4 working days to complete providing they don't require any extra work, such as a weld repair. If wheels are dropped off with no prior notice, we can not guarantee a completion date, please bare this in mind. Loan wheels are often available too so please ask.

A Courtesy vehicle is now available to use while your vehicle is in with us. There is a small charge to cover insurance but that's it! No need to be immobile while you have your wheels renovated. Please ask a member of our staff for more information, or call us on 0121 377 8866

In House Diamond Cut Finishes

Carried out in house, diamond cut finishes are also available from us. For this the process is different and usual turnaround for diamond cut finishes will vary from job to job, usually taking 3-4 working days.

We use a system that digitises the wheel so that your exact wheel can be stored in case it ever has to be repaired in the future.

On a regular basis we re-cut alloy wheels from Volkswagon, Porsche, Mercedes, Citreon and many other vehicle manufacturers. We have the capacity to cut 100-150 wheels per day.

Please contact us for costs on bespoke finishes. Please see the above video on how we diamond cut alloy wheels.

Tyre Fitting

At Prestige Wheels we don't just repair and refurbish alloy wheels, we are also experts in fitting the perfect tyre for your wheel. The video demonstrates the care and attention that our technicians always use when fitting tyres to a customers alloy wheel.
